		<description>It is indeed journalism&#039;s obligation to publicize government activities - I don&#039;t see how the newspaper will improve this contribution to its readers by closing the Springfield office and laying off its (according to you) experienced bureau chief.  Certainly there were other, less necessary, costs that could have been cut.  Thank you for providing your insight and personal experiences.</description>
