My tech-savvy parents

My dad is on YouTube and posted this video:

For Christmas, I got my mom an iPod Nano and loaded up her CD collection on there for her. I talked with her the other day on the phone and asked her how it was working.

The main thing for her seemed to be the accessories related to the iPod. She bought several items that made it more useful: an adaptor that let her play the music through her work computer and a leather case to protect it.

One thing that she couldn’t find for her iPod was a carrying case for everything that you need for an iPod to function. While Apple prides itself on its simple and cute products that are stripped down to the core, it forgets to mention that the iPod requires a lot of things.

Between the data/recharging cable, accessories, earphones, etc. that’s a lot of things to carry around and kept track of. My mom’s solution was to use a cosmetic bag to keep it all together. Why hasn’t Apple made a bag, branded with their logo, for sale yet? I’m sure people would flock for these. Or, at least, my mom would.
