Bring Faygo pop to Illinois

The State Journal-Register is reporting that Illinois is now taking bids to have a single soda supplier for all of its vending machines, including the three University of Illinois campuses.

Right now at Urbana campus, the contracted company is Coca Cola. You can’t escape it. While some people were really upset about that Coke contract, I personally didn’t mind having Barq’s Root Beer available in the vending machines. But what really bugged me was the price of soda. It was outrageous. You couldn’t get a can of soda for 50 cents anywhere, which basically meant you had to put in a dollar and get back 35 cents.

I’m pretty sick of paying these outlandish prices for soda (or, if you prefer, pop) and I’m rooting for Illinois to bring Faygo to the masses of this state.

Faygo is a soda for the person on a budget. It’s cheap. It tastes great and there’s a variety of flavors. Just look at the list of brands they offer! Can you tell me that you don’t want to try Key Lime Pie or Pineapple Orange? And how about Cletis? I don’t know what flavor that is, but I want it in a vending machine at the Illini Union. It’s pretty clear to me that Illinois deserves a variety of fizzy beverages in its buildings that rises to the level of Faygo branded drinks. From personal experience, I can tell you that their Lemon-Lime soda is delicious and comes at a thrifty price.

Want further proof that Faygo is the right choice for Illinois? Well, it just so happens to be endorsed by the famous rap group Insane Clown Posse. That’s right, the group that brought you such singles as “Santa’s a Fat Bitch” and “Fuck the World” has promoted the Faygo brand extensively. Who does Coca Cola have promoting them? Adrien Brody. Lame. Who’s advertising for Pepsi? Carson Daley. Even more lame. With ICP and Faygo, Illinois will have instant respect of the Juggalo nation for choosing a refreshing soft drink at a honest price.

So, I’m calling it: Faygo For Illinois!

Faygo is great taste and it’s sold at an awsome price! I agree with this person that Faygo should be sold there not only that but everywhere in the united states, ICP is one of my favoprite bands and there concerts rock!
